Substitute
The room was dark, cold and unfamiliar, but neither minded. Their meeting had been almost last-minute. Kevin wasn’t sure why Joe had decided now was as good a time as any to meet him, but truth be told, he was as desperate to see him as Joe was. Kevin had no idea exactly what would happen once he got here, but he was willing to risk it to find out.
Joe was already there waiting for him. As soon as Kevin arrived, he knew this would have noting to do with anything even slightly romantic. He knew Joe too well. Their first private meeting in what seemed like months was not to be wasted on talking. There were other things that needed attending to.
That’s why Kevin was thrilled when Joe grabbed him by the arms and dragged him into the small room, shutting the door behind him. There was a heated kiss, frantic hands, and then, falling. Kevin wasn’t sure who was in charge anymore as their hands clamoured to free their clothes from each other. It had been far too long for both of them, and the aching familiarity about the act made Kevin wonder why he ever agreed to break up in the first place.
“How selfish of you to – fuck – shun an appearance on Lateline, just to see me,” Kevin said as Joe pinned him down, biting his neck.
“Such a filthy mouth, Kevin. Besides, I couldn’t resist one last fuck. I didn’t even get to kiss you that night. This is making up for that,” Joe said.
“Better make it worth it then,” Kevin said, inhaling sharply.
“You know I will. I applaud you for leaving Lateline to Julia though. Nice move,” Joe said.
“It was appropriate for her to do it, not me. Besides, what better excuse to see you?” Kevin said.
“She fuckin’ knows about us, doesn’t she?” Joe said as he pulled Kevin into a kiss.
“Yeah, she-she knows, sort of,” came Kevin’s breathless reply.
“Better make sure she doesn’t screw you like I’m going to,” Joe said, stroking his own dick in preparation.
“You wish. Like I’d fuck her,” Kevin said, more than ready for him.
“You should swear more often. Such a turn on to hear such filth from such a beautiful mouth,” Joe said, running his thumb across Kevin’s lips.
“I need you,” Kevin whispered.
Joe kissed him, knowing what it was he needed. Kevin gasped as Joe bit his neck again, a slight distraction from Joe slowly pushing his way inside him. Kevin shuddered, hands grasping him tightly, fully aware of the irony of being fucked by an opposition Minister.
What followed was hard and rough, both men channelling their pent up lust and frustration into what they were doing. Kevin was sure he’d have bruises he’d have to try and explain away later, but he didn’t care. All he cared about was Joe pounding into him and how he’d never been so turned on in his life.
They lingered, briefly, once it was over, both hiding in silent oppression. Neither could find adequate words to say. There would never be a next time, not now. Now it was over for good.
Joe left first.
Kevin sat on the bed, listening to his car drive off, hiding his head in his hands as he cried for the relationship that had meant more to him than he felt he could ever say.
